The house is fully-self contained, comprising two double bedrooms , two twin rooms, bathroom with spa, en suite and all conveniences including fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher , laundry and spacious living areas with TV and video.
French doors open onto a sunny verandah and courtyard with barbeque . Antiques, log fire, polished timber floors and cathedral ceilings feature in the rooms. Playground equipment is also provided . Enjoy the log fire or spa, stroll around the property or discover the natural beauty that Jervis Bay has to offer.
The house is located on Worrowing , one of the few existing rural properties in the Jervis Bay area and was part of a land grant of 2550 acres in 1830.The Georgian style homestead was modeled on Old Erowal House built in 1840, but burned down in the 1960's, and has now been rebuilt to its former glory. The property has catered for many Jervis Bay Arts events , weddings ,festivals and open day by the National Trust .Over the years Worrowing has been worked as a poll Hereford stud and today maintains its rural atmosphere with cattle, horses, and the encouragement of the abundant wildlife of Jervis Bay onto the property.
Bring or hire a bicycle and follow the cycleway to Jervis Bay or St. Georges Basin. Discover the close by beaches and national park. Visit the new leisure centre with heated pool, coffee shops , historic picture theatre and many local restaurants. Horse riding is nearby. Feed the farm animals bird watch Each day the property is frequented by large mobs of kangaroos and wallabies. Many have become permanent residents of Worrowing.
