The Kooralbyn Rural Retreat features the beautiful Makuti lodge set on a glorious 10 acre property in the wonderful Kooralbyn Valley. Our retreat is a perfect place to take a break in a beautiful relaxing environment where you do as little or as much as you want. Makuti lodge is a uniquely designed split log house which was built in 1997. The unique design of the dwelling is based on the South African style bungalow or "Makuti". The architecture provides cool breezes in summer and warmth in winter.
