By Car: Bright is 308km NE from Melbourne on the Great Alpine Road. Access is from the Hume Freeway at Wangaratta. You can also reach Bright via the Princes Hwy through Bairnsdale and then onto the Omeo Highway and over the High Plains on the Great Alpine Road. By Rail: V/Line operates rail travel to Wangaratta with connecting coach service to Bright most days of the week. For further information contact V/Line directly.
