Hume Hwy via Euroa and Merton The Hume Highway is a popular route and the best way to travel is take the turnoff to Euroa and head to Merton (Mansfield). This is a shorter route and will make a pleasant trip if the weather is fine. Travellers will have the opportunity to see the small town of Euroa and perhaps make a refreshment stop there. Following the Euroa-Mansfield Road will take you to the intersection at Merton. Turn left and follow the road onto Mansfield. Melba and Maroondah Hwy Maroondah Hwy can be slow at the moment. This is due to the fire damage around King Lake West, Flowerdale and Glenburn. Slow traffic is common and there are many low speed zones. There is also a lot of construction work at the controversial North-South Pipe line from Yea to the south. As you arrive in Mansfield From Melbourne (Maroondah Hwy), travel into Mansfield and to the roundabout. Turn LEFT and you will find Mansfield Motel on the left. Look for the large sign.
