2. Appropriate Policies and Practices considered necessary to establish and enjoy a risk free and safe presence and enviroment have not been developed and are not in place. Oceana's Owner's and Managers are not in a situation to create or fund a risk free safe enviroment for Owners and their Guests on their property in a Schoolies Festival enviroment with associated behaviour and activities.

3. In these circumstances we recommend Schoolies Festival bookings/reservations be made with Schoolies

4. Schoolies Festival Students/Parents who make reservations/bookings providing false, inaccurate or incomplete details such as age/number of guests and Schoolies Festival purpose of stay - or who disregard Oceana's above stated Schoolies Festival position will have that booking/reservation cancelled, deposit forfeited and no alternative accommodation will be provided.

It is only a few minutes walk to the many restaurants, open air coffee houses offering a variety of cuisine, as well as rows of the best of Gold Coast shopping. Nearby is Gold Coast’s biggest shopping centre, Pacific Fair. The Gold Coast’s Jupiters Casino and the new Convention Centre are approximately 15 minutes walk, or 3 minutes in the car. Easy access to all theme parks and the hinterland. Only a few minutes to championship golf courses. The Broadbeach Life Saving Club is just adjacent to our property, and the Kurrawa Surf Club is only 10 minutes walk along the beach path.

Directions

Coolangatta airport is approximately 35 minutes by car, and to the City of Brisbane or Brisbane airport 70 minutes. Oceana on Broadbeach backs onto Old Burleigh Road which runs parallel to Broadbeach and to Surf Parade and the Gold Coast Highway. Oceana is located immediately North of The Broadbeach Surf Life Saving Clubhouse
