Bowral Nsw is a unique country town that is in close proximity to Sydney, Canberra and the South Coast. Bowral was recently given the number one destination to visit in country NSW by the Australian Traveller magazine.
The bustling Bowral CBD has plenty to offer with boutique shopping specialising in fashion, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops, professional suites, art galleries and light industry and not to mention the famous Bowral Brickworks.
People come to Bowral during the year to experience the four seasons and to enjoy Tulip Time and its street parade, three Day on the Green concerts with international artisits, Bradman Oval for international cricket matches and the famous Bradman Museum plus the two houses where Sir Donald was raised, The Bong Bong Picnic Races at Wyeera, three golf courses, a bowling club, historical homes such as John Oxleys, first Australian slat home bulit on Oxleys Hill, the Bowral Court house made out of a Bowral building material known as "trachyte" which was quarried from Mt Gibraltar.
