Briardale House is one of Alburys finest homes. Located in a quiet Northern area of Albury, NSW, Australia, Briardale is the ideal hub for exploring our historic city and surrounds. Our home is situated on the original grounds of Briardale Orchard, established in 1919 by the Heathwood Family. Breakfast is served in the Dining Room where tea, coffee & snacks are available throughout the day. Please note that Briardale is not "hi-tech" - we are very old-world - we do not have pay, satellite or cable TV, we do have free wireless internet and Free-to-Air TV in your room. All Suites are ABOVE STAIRS ON THE FIRST FLOOR and feature ensuite bathrooms and individual air-conditioning.
Briardale House is licensed for your convenience, our cellar is stocked with a selection of local beers & Australian & French wines to be enjoyed either indoors or outside in the quiet and peaceful garden.
Please note that children can only be accommodated in the existing bedding configurations, ie, 1 Queen size bed per suite, as no other bedding is available and will be charged at the applicable room tariff. Our Suites cater for a maximum of two persons per Suite.
Albury is an historic city, retaining much of its early architecture. Be sure to visit the Botanical gardens, undoubtedly one of the best examples in Australia. Visit the Hume Dam which services the mighty Murray River down to South Australia. The Bandiana Army museum is a must see. Albury is the ideal hub for exploring our wonderful region. Tourist information centres are located at the Albury Railway Station and at Gateway Island, Wodonga.
