3 hour drive from Melbourne, Mt Buller is close enough for a days escape far enough away for a relaxing holiday. Nice drive from Mansfield and Merrijig Mt Buller has everything you need for the perfect summer experience and winter getaway. During winter our extensive lift system gives you access to over 300 ha of terrain with something to appeal to all levels of ability. In summer the lifts give you access to some of the best downhill mountain bike riding trails. Our village is situated picturesquely at the heart of the mountain, close to all amenities and trails. With a wide range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets, there is something to cater for all needs. A number of bars and restaurants provide a range of delectable treats from quick snacks to fine dining. Mt Buller is also home to Breathtaker on High Australias highest spa retreat which is open throughout summer and offers a number of relaxing treats from facials and massage to a lap pool. A range of other activities will keep you entertained throughout your summer holiday at Mt Buller. Take a hike through the beautiful countryside and witness some of the most amazing views chill out in the Cinema check out the mountain from a new perspective and go rock climbing or enjoy a friendly game of tennis. Mt Buller is 248 kilometres or approximately 3.5 hours from Melbourne via either the Hume Highway or the Melba Highway through the Yarra Valley.
Note: There is no petrol available past Mansfield.
Other travel alternatives include transfers from Melbourne via luxury limousine helicopter and The Buller Bullet five star coach.
