St Georges Basin a large inland salt water lake that feeds into the ocean waters through Sussex Inlet and is the home of the villages of Erowal Bay, Basin View, Sanctuary Point and St Georges Basin. With its safe sheltered waterways and numerous creeks and estuaries it is the breeding ground and nursery for the numerous fish species the area. This quiet secluded area is only a few minutes drive to the beaches of Jervis Bay and the National Parks and Ocean beaches and is and easy bike ride via the paved cycle-way to Huskisson & Vincentia. Only minutes to shops, supermarkets, clubs and services it is an ideal quiet and safe family holiday location.
